World Youth Day 2008
The TYME OUT Youth Center went to Australia to attend World Youth Day 2008. Margie Lang the Program Administrator at TYME OUT, was very fortunate to have represented TYME OUT in Australia. This was Margie’s second opportunity to attend a World Youth Day. The first World Youth Day she attended was in Rome in 2000. That was an awesome experience where 2 million young people gathered in that very holy city during the millennial celebration. Prior to her trip, Margie looked forward to having a similar experience in Australia. She left July 8th and returned July 21st. Margie tried to provide weekly updates before she left and daily updates from Australia. She funded the trip on her own and did not accept any funds from TYME OUT for this trip.
