What does Christmas mean to me!
Thursday, December 17th, 2009Many times adults might think that Christmas is for little kids and for adults. They might think that teens don’t really find any meaning to the season. I think after you read these reflections from the youth of St. Boniface in Germantown, you might think differently.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Christmas brings back those memories that will never be forgotten and creates new memories as well. Christmas this year will be the celebration of a complete, healthy family and eternal love for one another.
To me, Christmas means the excitement of gift giving & gift receiving. I am so looking forward to Christmas this year because there’s nothing better than being with my brothers & parents, just us 6.
To me Christmas means spending needed time with my family. It is a time to get away from all the chaos of looking for last minute gifts, and just relax. This Christmas I will be celebrating the presence and love of my family.
It means spending time with my extended family and friends. This Christmas I will be celebrating the birth of Jesus & the gift of family.
To me Christmas is a holiday to reflect on God. And to take in all of the joy our family hands to me and my siblings. I will be celebrating the birth of God.
Christmas to me means getting everyone together, and sharing love & gifts with each other. I will be celebrating getting my whole family together, because we only get together about twice a year.
Christmas mean to me is spending time with friends and family that you love. I will be celebrating for Christmas is spending it with my niece and almost my nephew that is going to be born. My niece doesn’t really understand what Christmas is about but in the next few years she will understand.
To me, Christmas mean celebrating the friends and family we are blessed while remembering the spirit of that first Christmas; joy, thankfulness, & a little wonder. I will be celebrating by simply spending time with the ones I love most.
Christmas time to me means that special time of year when hopefully everyone can share love in honor of the birth of our Savior.
It means reflecting on a past year and looking for improvements. Also to tell the people you love how much you care about them. I will be celebrating for all that I have and what I believe in and care for.
Christmas is a time when my family is together. We celebrate starting anew. We celebrate the season of giving.
Christmas means celebrating the love and happiness I share with my friends, my family and my God.
Christmas to me is a time of renewal and redemption. Before the beginning of a brand new year, we are given the chance to reconnect with lost friends or family and repair rifts in our lives, I will celebrate a year of finally accepting people and their perspectives.
Christmas is a time when friends and family come together to enjoy each others joyful and cheerful company. We will be celebrating another year with the family together and healthy.
The Christmas to me signifies the spirit of giving and family coming together to celebrate this wonderful season of giving. This is what I will be celebrating.
Christmas means family. I will be celebrating Jesus & my family’s health & well being.
Christmas means family, and traditions and religion. And all of the festivals with that.
Christmas is a time to celebrate with friends & family another successful year.
Christmas means getting a break from the busy and stressful aspects of life and getting to spend time with friends and family. I will be celebrating my family this Christmas.
It means seeing those lovely family members that you can only see when they come for Christmas. This year Christmas is about that I have no more restrictions and my family is in good health also my cousin just got in high school.
It means the happiest time of the year where everyone puts their anger aside and sis happy and shows how they care for each other.
Christmas is a time I am able to celebrate with my family. It is time to see my two older brothers, whom I am rarely able to see during the school year. I will be celebrating my family’s health and good fortune.
Christmas is a time for friends and family to share love. I will be celebrating being with the ones I love; they are the best gift of all.

Christmas to me means being able to see the smile on my family members face when they receive a gift coming from the heart. I’ll be celebrating that my family has good health.
Christmas means getting time to share yourself with others through gifts, meals, and time spent together. I’ll be celebrating my family and how much they meant to me.
For me Christmas is making the cookies. This is the one time my family meets all at my grandma’s house to make hundreds of cookies. Not only do I love eating the cookies, but I love spending the time with my family.
Christmas means getting together with family and friends to celebrate each others’ love and each others’ company and to experience the birth of Jesus.
Christmas to me means to spend time with family and opening gifts with each other and playing as Santa Claus. We will be celebrating just being with the ones we love.
Christmas means to take a break and a step back and know what is important to you. I will celebrate the good health of my extended family. I will also celebrate how blessed we are by the father and the love we share.
Christmas is a time of joy and love which I get to spend with my family and friends. Christmas time is the best time of year because everyone is happy and in a good mood. Also, I love buying gifts for people because I love seeing their reaction when they open the gift.
Christmas means to me celebrating the birth of Christ. It also means being able to come together with family and friends and being able to laugh and have a good time together because you never know how many you have left together. My grandpa has cancer and each and every year when we get together for Christmas and everything else I am so grateful he is still hear to celebrate it with us because I don’t know how many more times we will be able to celebrate it with him. I’m glad to have this happy time to spend with each other.
To me, Christmas means a reflection of simpler times, when faith came easy and all people were kind; like when we were kids. This year I will be celebrating the beginning of my new journey with Christ and the health and happiness of my family!
The coming of our promise; God’s gift to all. We will be celebrating God’s love the coming of Jesus this gift and blessing.
Christmas to me is about celebrating our lives and the lives of our loved ones though family gatherings, traditions, and charitable events. This year, I will be celebrating my family’s good health and that every one I know has a warm place to stay this winter.
Christmas does not mean too much too much to me. I believe we should celebrate Jesus Christ and his birth every day of the year. Instead of gifts we should donate to the poor because I know I have every thing I want and need and then some. I do still like spending extra time with my friends and family though.

Christmas means happiness, love, cheer, jolly. This year we are celebrating new born health, Jesus.
For me, Christmas is one of the only times that my whole family, including my mom and dad’s side, can catch up on just about everything and enjoy each other’s company. This year, we’ll be celebrating the fact that I still have two parents that live together and that I am provided for.
It’s a time to be with my family and be who I really am and have a good time. Also, celebrate my grandpa surviving cancer to last for another New Year and Christmas.
Christmas mans I have made it through the semester so I can relax and enjoy myself with family & friends and thank God I made it!

Christmas is the tree, the lights, midnight mass, and family. Every year Christmas starts the morning of Christmas Eve. The night is especially fun with mass and singing then continues through Christmas night.

If you did or did not receive what you wanted once that Christmas day ends most people get out of the holiday spirit and go back to their old-self. Christmas is a time most people reflect on the birth of Jesus. I will be celebrating this with my great family.
